Nexa Livingtimeline

Nexa Living was founded by Giles and Chris with one simple mission: to completely reimagine what student living should feel like. No more tired houses, slow maintenance, or landlords who don’t care — just quality homes designed for real student life. From day one, the goal has been to build places students actually want to live in, not just settle for.

We secured our first three Southampton properties. These homes became the foundation of the Nexa Living vision — bright, modern, stylish spaces made for students who want more from their accommodation. It was the first big step in creating a new standard for uni living.

The real transformation work started. Walls came down, new ones went up, and each house began turning into a space built around comfort, community and convenience. We wanted the kind of homes we would’ve loved as students — and that meant doing things properly from day one.

We landed our first property in Exeter, marking Nexa Living’s expansion into our second major university city. With one of the best student communities in the country, Exeter was a natural next step. Our aim: bring the same quality, style and service that students in Southampton were already excited about.

A huge milestone — the very first students moved into Nexa Living homes in both Southampton and Exeter. Seeing those houses filled with life, laughter, freshers week plans and new friendships made every hour of renovation worthwhile. This moment marked the official launch of Nexa Living as a student accommodation brand built around people, not just properties.

Three more properties were secured in Exeter to keep up with student demand. We’re committed to bringing high-quality, well-designed HMOs to the city — places where students feel safe, supported and proud to live. Each home brings us closer to building the strongest student housing portfolio in the South West.

We officially launched the Nexa Living website — your new gateway to explore our homes, meet the team, and see what makes our communities different. Designed with students in mind, it’s clean, quick and easy to use because finding a home shouldn’t be stressful. This launch marks the start of a much bigger digital experience coming in 2026.
